2023 ministry update

Ten years ago, God led us to the land that is now Wild Hope Training and Retreat Center. As you view the videos on this page, you will see a story unfold of God faithfully pouring out of his abundance as we seek to bring his blessings to those around us. Thank you for being a part of this story through your prayers and contributions

This year: Finding water!

Celebrating God’s gift of water! In abundance!

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

~Isaiah 44:3

Eureka! Did we ever hit water! Bigger than is normally seen in these parts. “I think the bottom of the well is in a river!” our driller said. Please join with us as we pray that the next phase of getting the water from the source over four miles to Wild Hope’s base also goes well. In addition, we are asking God for water that has a low enough mineral count that we can share it with our neighbors who have to go long distances to get water on bicycles and motorbikes.

We are so grateful for how God has met our needs through the faith and prayers of friends and partners. Our God truly answers out of His riches “above and beyond what we can ask or think.” (Eph 3:20) Will you pray with us that the blessing of water will extend both physical and spiritual life in our community?

The Wild Hope Retreat and Training Center is truly a land set apart for the Lord…a refuge for the weary, a sanctuary of prayer and worship, a place for rejoicing and celebration, a home where fellowship can deepen, a shelter where learning and growth can take place. “How lovely are your dwelling places, Oh Lord!”

Going Deep To Go Far:  As we work within the Maasai churches to develop maturity and deep fellowship, we are also helping them prepare to go out to the unreached by partnering with other missions groups, developing missions strategy, and establishing funding options.

Transformation through Education: In this brief video John Lekitony describes his joint roles in managing the Enduata school, which Wild Hope supports, and overseeing the Education Department for the CCCT churches. Educational Sponsorships have given us the great joy of seeing students enabled to pursue their callings in diverse fields such as medical, accounting, business, teaching, pastoral work, and mining. We support their callings with Youth Discipleship conferences during school breaks to encourage students in their walk with the Lord.
