December 3, 2024 is your opportunity to make a life-changing impact in Tanzania and East Africa through the ministry of Wild Hope International.
In 2007, God led us to the land that is now Wild Hope Training and Retreat Center. As you view the videos on this page, you will see a story unfold of God faithfully pouring out of his abundance as we seek to bring his blessings to those around us. Thank you for being a part of this story through your prayers and contributions.
Celebrating God’s gift of water! In abundance!
For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.
~Isaiah 44:3
Eureka! Did we ever hit water! Bigger than is normally seen in these parts. “I think the bottom of the well is in a river!” our driller said. Please join with us as we pray that the next phase of getting the water from the source over four miles to Wild Hope’s base also goes well. In addition, we are asking God for water that has a low enough mineral count that we can share it with our neighbors who have to go long distances to get water on bicycles and motorbikes.
This year Wild Hope is part of Giving Tuesday, a global movement dedicated to generosity.
Just like there are two days for getting deals–Black Friday and Cyber Monday–
#GivingTuesday is a day for giving back.
We are so grateful for how God has met our needs through the faith and prayers of friends and partners. Our God truly answers out of His riches “above and beyond what we can ask or think.” (Eph 3:20) Will you pray with us that the blessing of water will extend both physical and spiritual life in our community?
The Wild Hope Retreat and Training Center is truly a land set apart for the Lord…a refuge for the weary, a sanctuary of prayer and worship, a place for rejoicing and celebration, a home where fellowship can deepen, a shelter where learning and growth can take place. “How lovely are your dwelling places, Oh Lord!”

In this brief video John Lekitony describes his joint roles in managing the Enduata school, which Wild Hope supports, and overseeing the Education Department for the CCCT churches. You can read more about Wild Hope’s vision for transformation through education here.

We will use your donation where it is needed most.
Wild Hope is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3). All gifts are tax-deductible and deeply appreciated. We couldn’t do this without you!
Wild Hope’s focus is making disciples in love with Jesus…disciples who will impact their communities by communicating the Father’s love.
We go DEEP into the Father’s love through our DEEP discipleship Training and we go FAR seeking out those not yet touched by that love among the unreached.
DEEP
Deep Discipleship Small Group Training
Help us disciple emerging leaders at the point of heart transformation by providing funds for training, transportation, and scholarships for those who can’t afford to pay. Trainings are held both at the Wild Hope Retreat and Training Center and in other strategic locations as God opens doors.
Key Conferences
Support targeted conferences for Christian leaders at the Wild Hope Retreat and Training Center on key topics such as Godly Marriage, Prayer, Worship, Spiritual Warfare, and The Father’s Love.
One-on-One Prayer Counseling
Wild Hope is becoming known as a place for national and international Christian workers to come when struggling with hard questions of life, relationships, and ministry in cross-cultural settings. Help us continue to offer a place of prayer to keep Christian workers effective and on the field.
Transformation through Education
A key foundational element to making the gospel effective. We are currently working in the following areas:
- Education for Maasai Pastors including a literacy program and helping our Maasai pastors get the additional studies they need to meet new government requirements for all pastors
- Scholarship fund to invest in higher education for students from families of close disciples
- Youth retreats to disciple those we are sponsoring for education and other key youth leaders
- Support for Enduata School: Help this key English-medium school in the heart of the bush of Maasailand. This school in Enkeywa is the fruit of James Kukan’s long-term vision to impact Maasai children through Christian education.
Prayer and Worship and Training
Events on the land sponsored by Wild Hope to encourage and empower believers.
Support our Team
As we are able to receive more guests, we will need to also add to our Wild Hope team, which will require ongoing staff salaries.
FAR
God provides many opportunities to bring his Gospel to those still lost in darkness.
Support our unreached efforts and Solomon and Sarah as they spearhead our initiative seeking to penetrate hard to access communities of Central and Southern Tanzania through relationship building in the love of the Father, and sharing the truths of His Word.
Maasai Missionaries
Help us as we seek to train the Maasai church in how to send their people to the nations.
Kairos Course
Sponsor African leaders to attend Tanzania’s equivalent of the Perspective Course, a one week intensive in Swahili, to impart God’s mission heart to our African leaders to obey the Great Commission and become sending churches.
