“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.’” -John 7:38-

We wish you a very joyous and worshipful Christmas season!

One of the beloved parts of the Wild Hope land is a seven station prayer walk. Down at the very bottom of our land is station 3 called The Valley of the Not Yet where pilgrims can bring to the Man of Sorrows difficult unanswered prayers and dreams in their lives. The bench at station 3 sits next to a dry well…a symbol of our shattered hopes for water 13 years ago. But the story doesn’t end there…

Late last year, our local Tanzanian intercessors saw a vision of abundant water flowing over the Wild Hope land. This prophetic vision encouraged us to look for a possible place to drill. We found a plot four miles up Mt. Meru. Our friends, Ray and Michelle Adamyk (who drilled the well out in Maasailand 7 years ago), provided funds for the purchase of that plot. They prayed that we would hit a river underneath; and on Sept. 15 we did! Check out the Ministry Update page on our Website for amazing videos of the rushing water.

Now we are working on getting the water tested and piped to our land and to our neighbors who really struggle getting water. The blessing of this water flowing so freely seems like the perfect reflection of how God is pouring out his Spirit through the many areas of ministry we are involved with.

Ministry Update

Transformation through Education.
A young man we are helping became the first one from his valley in Maasailand to get a college degree. Samuel Senwa graduated from Sokoine University in Morogoro and is now an Agro-Vet establishing a business as mission amongst the Maasai. He not only is helping his people with the treatment of animals but teaching by example on seeding plots, and rotation grazing to preserve the land and to be able to live with less cows on less land. Here Samuel shows one of the goats he cares for.

Your partnership with Wild Hope helps other students that we sponsor to pursue the call on their lives to bring Living Water in many sectors of society.

Some of those students are the young Maasai attending Enduata School, which Wild Hope continues to support.

Going Far. Solomon and Sarah continue in their passion to see the unreached reached. Recently a key family in a completely closed community opened their greater family to them. It amazes us how God gives them favor. Many suffer from nightly demonic attacks and desire Solomon and Sarah’s prayers.

Please pray with us that they would receive ultimate freedom in Christ and that Solomon and Sarah would bring true seekers to the Living Water of Christ.

Going Deep. The Maasai churches we work with continue to grow, and face growth pains as they mature and face the trials common to all of us. New churches are being planted, many are being baptized, and God is working in powerful ways through intercession and fellowship across denominational lines.

We continue to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in our call to help the Maasai church (CCCT) prepare to go to the unreached. We are doing this through a three-pronged approach:

    1. Partnering with other mission organizations like YWAM and KAIROS to ignite a heart for mission amongst the Maasai church.
    2. Leading the development and implementation of a Mission Strategy for the CCCT churches so they can send missionaries well. This includes setting up mission policy and structure as well as training CCCT leadership on how to be a sending church.
    3. Coaching the CCCT leadership and sponsoring the establishment of a livestock investment cooperative to fund those missionaries as they go! Don’t know if we should call it Cows for Christ or Goats for the Gospel.

Retreat/Training Center. The Wild Hope Retreat/Training center continues to grow in influence and impact. Christian workers from Tanzania as well as Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, and the Congo are coming for refreshing and re-tooling. Our hearts are blessed immensely when we hear how vision and healing received here at Wild Hope has been implemented in various contexts of kindred-spirit Christian ministries. We are ever so grateful for our incredible Wild Hope Tanzania team that makes it all possible.

As we recently experienced dramatic big rains on this side of the world, we are now enjoying the lush green of fresh growth around us. But we also have seen destruction that has come in areas that simply were not prepared for such a flooding downpour. Please pray for us to be spiritually prepared for the increased outpouring of God’s Spirit. We are aware more than ever of our need to be personally refreshed and connected to the wellspring Who never runs dry.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support that prepare us for the expanding needs, ministries, and opportunities God is entrusting to Wild Hope. Your donations are building trenches, canals, and bridges for the Living Water to flow deep and far. And wherever the River flows it brings life! (Ezekiel 47:8-10) We invite you to see the short videos posted on the Ministry Update page on our Website for a little drink from the fountain of His goodness.

This Christmas, may you also experience the overflow of His goodness!

Gratefully yours,
Tammy and Peter
