Nadede’s Financial Need has been met!

We are so thankful for the response to our request for help with Nadede’s medical expenses! As Paul says in 2 Cor 9:11, “your generosity results in thanksgiving to God.” Nadede and her family and all of us at Wild Hope want to thank each of you that prayed and gave to ensure the best care for this precious young woman.

On Tuesday April 16, Tammy took Nadede to her follow up appointment with the ENT specialist/surgeon in Moshi at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Although the procedure was a bit uncomfortable and painful for Nadede, the doctor successfully completed the final cleaning out of her sinuses and said the surgery of two weeks  ago was 100% successful.

She also had a follow up appointment with her neurosurgeon. All the staples have been removed from her scalp and the doctor was very pleased with her healing and progress.

Nadede continues to be full of grace and courage and to be deeply grateful for all the prayer and support.  She keeps saying over and over again, “God is with me at every turn!” When Tammy asked her if there is anything that seems difficult or painful, she said she feels completely normal but her energy level is still low. When she returns to school work, we will see how her motor function and cognitive skills are doing.

It is currently Easter break for her sister and brothers who are all home now out in the bush with Joloisa. She and her father, Peter, are staying near her school where they have an attendant nurse giving the IV antibiotics three times a day. When this is complete on the 27th, she will joyfully join them at home for one week before school starts for the next term.

She is very eager to go home again after her ordeal and the local community will come out in force to greet her as they have all been profoundly impacted by her challenge and the wonderful way God has provided and preserved her.

To God Be the Glory!
